For most patients, a full course of 6 to 8 sessions provides the best results. Treatments are usually spaced around 4 to 6 weeks apart for facial areas and 6 to 8 weeks apart for the body. This allows enough time for new hair to enter the growth phase before your next appointment.
After completing the initial course, most patients notice a significant reduction in hair density and regrowth speed. Occasional top-up sessions may be needed once or twice a year to maintain smooth results, particularly for hormonal areas such as the face, underarms, or bikini line.
It’s worth noting that “permanent hair removal” can be a misleading term. Laser treatment provides long-term hair reduction, meaning most treated hairs won’t grow back, and those that do are typically finer and lighter.
